Can be used as a conventional scanner when not required for stocktaking. No additional software is required to download basic memory content.
This new, easy to use Class 1 Laser scan engined based bar code reader is now available for remote use to store bar codes in its onboard non-volatile memory and also to double up as a tethered desk top scanner for normal day to day use.
The ROV MS2200 uses 3 AAA Alkaline or NiMh rechargeable batteries (not included) for power when used remotely for asset collection or stock taking purposes. Bar codes stored in memory can be downloaded to the host computer wh
en the ROV is reconnected to the interface cable.
When used with Windows XP service pack 2 or greater the ROV USB/HID cable makes installation of th
e MS2200 a simple plug and play affair.
The ROV MS2200 is also supplied with a Santoprene® boot that can be optionally fitted as illustrated to provide for cable retention and additional shock and drop protection if required. The ROV MS2200 is ideal when used for library stock taking applications including Bookmark.
